About Us
The Head Trainer and owner of The West Australian Thai Boxing Centre Peter Boyd has been involved in Muay Thai since 1994. Peter started his training at Phons Gym where he had the oppurtunity to train with "Mr Muay Thai" Phon Martdee, Sanapar Noi, Rhino, Daniel "The Rock" Dawson, Oliver Olsen and many more West Australian Legends.
Peter's dream was to one day own his own gym and in 2003 that dream came true when he opened the Thai Boxing Centre in Morley.
The West Australian Thai Boxing Centre is a member of the World Muay Thai Council (WMC) and International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA). Peter Boyd is the currant WA State Representive for Muaythai Australia who represent WMC/IFMA in Australia.
Peter has worked hard since 2003 not only making the West Australian Thai Boxing Centre a success, but also becoming a successful promotor of Muaythai in Australia with Perth Thai Boxing Promotions. Perth Thai Boxing Promotions are the creator of the 'Supremacy' fight shows that are seen on FOXSPORTS show casing the very best of The West Australian Thai Boxing Centre's fighters.
